Amy is an intelligent, dynamic speaker who combines the latest management research with practical advice that anyone can put into practice. We had her as a guest speaker at Deutsche Bank America’s Women’s Network and the response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. We plan to have Amy back soon.
We are still glowing from the wonderful keynote address you gave to the BCH Academy last Friday. We received many positive remarks on how well you were able to engage with the audience in a “Ted-like” talk that focused on the exact topics the participants grapple with every single day. Your ability to weave the evidence along with practical tips on giving and receiving feedback allowed people to reflect on their own practices and how they might change the feedback culture one step at a time. We all appreciated how your stories only brought these lessons to life. I know that your presentation will positively affect Academy members when they give and receive feedback in “tricky” situations.
Amy was a fantastic presenter. She helped us normalize conflict and gave us the frameworks and skills to address workplace disagreements in a productive way. Her advice around preparing for, handling, and following up on difficult conversations is both insightful and practical. My greatest take-away? Conflict isn’t the problem. It’s how you handle it that matters.
Your session was terrific and you certainly provided valuable information, insights, and tips that are very practical and doable. It armed the participants with the tools to increase their effectiveness and confidence.
